blast2 software package provides Basic Local Alignment Search Tool, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install blast2
blast2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the blast2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep blast2 *
You will get with blast2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
